Region North Frisia
Our campsite is located at the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein, directly behind the dike to the national park and UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea. The infinitely wide North Frisian landscape with its unique Wadden Sea characterizes the image of Germany's northernmost rural district.
The North Sea offers a diverse habitat, because the nutrient-rich water is a paradise for crabs, mussels and numerous fishes. The flood comes and goes twice a day. The flat landscape behind the coast is characterized by extensive meadows and fields.
Explore the Husum Bay or the small village Simonsberg on the Eiderstedt peninsula, which was dominated by storm floods in the past. St. Peter-Ording similarly offers a wonderful natural scenery.
