Push the control down until the heating ignites and runs. Then you can set the temperature according to the desired level (1-10). You can see the flame through the small opening. BOOK NOW CHECK AVAILABILITY BLOG Natural swimming pond: Refreshing bathing pleasure without chlorine Your natural bathing fun with first-class water quality As a special extra, overnight guests can enjoy a modern natural swimming pond. What makes it special is that we do not use any chemicals or chlorine! The water is treated in accordance with the latest standards using natural methods. Sustainable treatment: A balanced system with special gravel substrates, plant filters, and modern pump technology guarantees excellent water quality that meets high hygiene standards. Comfort & health: The natural swimming pond combines clear, clean water that doesn't sting your eyes with the comfort of a familiar swimming pool. Swimming, sports, and nature observation The pond is also ideal for athletic swimmers: Swimming area: The water is a maximum of 1.35 m deep and 21 m long. Nature experience: There are separate plant zones on the banks. With a little luck, you can make interesting observations of nature here—colorful dragonflies, magnificent flowers, and perhaps the occasional amphibian. The natural setting blends harmoniously into the surroundings. North Sea bathing and alternatives Right on the dike: There is a beautiful swimming spot with a small sandy beach nearby. Depending on the tide, you can swim in the North Sea in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea. Day trips: On a day trip to St. Peter-Ording, you can swim at one of the largest sandy beaches on the North Sea. Bad weather tips: In rainy or cold weather, you will find public swimming pools in Husum and St. Peter-Ording. Important to know: The swimming pond is operated naturally and is not heated – look forward to refreshing bathing pleasure in its purest form! In a natural pond, a fine, slippery biofilm can form on the walls or floor. This is harmless to health and a sign that the ecosystem is in balance. Bathing rules for our swimming lake Please take note that you bath at your own risk, there is no bathing supervision. In order to guarantee bathing quality, there are following rules: Children only accompanied by their parents! Please have a shower before bathing! The consumption of food is not allowed! Objects made of glass are forbidden! Smoking is not permitted! Bicycles are unwanted in the swimming area! Dogs are not allowed! Do not enter the regeneration area and bank zone! Do not bath with infectious diseases, wounds or rashes! Access to the swimming pool only by pool ladder! Babies have to wear bathing trunks or swim nappies! There is danger of slipping on wet boardwalks and stones! Boardwalks may only be entered barefoot! Please dispose of your waste in the waste containers! The reservation of the loungers is allowed for a maximum of 30 minutes! Note The water is not cleaned with disinfectants, but via natural regeneration areas and plant filters. Because of no disinfection of the bathing water, an increased risk for human health caused by pathogens can not be excluded. This risk increases with the increase of bathing activity.
