Simonsberg

± 3 kilometres away

The idyllic village of Simonsberg is located about eight kilometers southwest of Husum on the peninsula Eiderstedt, directly on the North Sea coast, at the national park Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea. Discover lots of houses with thatched roofs, which are surrounded by green dikes. From Simonsberg fascinating trips to the National Park "Wattenmeer Nature World" are recommended for swimming, cycling and hiking.

Hardly any other place has been marked more by storm floods than Simonsberg. Traces of the natural force of the North Sea can be found around here. Added together Simonsberg and its church were destroyed by storm floods three times and then rebuilt inland.
